Architactile Inception Screenshots

The Prerelease Preview version of Architactile Inception is awaiting Apple iTunes App Store approval. We’re hoping to hear any day now. Architactile Inception for iPad will be made available at no cost for evaluation purposes and feedback for about 2 months. We’re planning on a Version 1 release in September 2010.

We think Architactile Inception will significantly shorten the amount of time architects spend developing initial project scopes and conceptual budgets during project initiation. The time saved can be spent with other prospects or doing billable work on already contracted jobs.  In this economy, every firm is looking for ways to do more with less (measured in time, people and money) and we think Architactile Inception can put hours back into every week. We’re really excited to get Inception (and iPads) in the hands of architects.

Until then here’s some screenshots of Inception to whet your appetite. These are the screenshots that will be seen in the iTunes Store.

Is there a residential side to this software? I can see how some of the features would be nice for residential architects, but is/will there be features that are geared towards residential design, cost estimating, etc.?

Great product! I am purchasing an iPad soon for the portfolio features.

    Thanks.

    Hi!
Do you have plans for UK version of your app (£, sqm, etc)?
    Regards,

    Hey DJ,

Thanks for stopping by. Originally our plans were to focus primarily on the US, but since Architactile Inception Lite was released a few days ago there has been a significant number of downloads internationally. Some of the features – like the cost factor calculations – would probably have to come out as I’m not sure we can find data to support it, but we may be able to release an “international version” that has a few less pre-fills but allows for meters and pounds (and other non-US currency symbols).

The “Lite” version is in the App Store now and available at no cost, so I hope you give it a spin and let us know what you think.
